Martita Designs is thrill to (finally) bring you a few of her ever expanding collection of her bead work!
All Of her pieces are made by her and are made of sterling,gold filled,cooper and what ever else including vintage beads, glass from around the world ,faux paux vintage and semi precious.
She works with local bead creators like Cay Dickey,who martita loves when it comes to dichrioc beads..!
Names are important to Martita when it comes to all her pieces (besides the fact that she can not remember a piece unless it has a one).
Beginning with the silver series, Martita tends to make a new silver bracelet every year and kinda got carried away this year since her sterling name tags are in so she made two.

Charkra was decided on after making it in the nineties and Her Friend Tricia (who owns a lovely alchemy shop in Ashland,Oregon) mentioned to Martita that the necklaces happens to have the main beads necessary to be a charkra. Thanks Tricia!

Immaculate series is a funny story and one worth writing a book about.. But praise be glory to my desert rat friend Mo who actually relay her favorite Holiday is the immaculate conception day (early December right, Mo?) and so the name stuck. I also happen to enjoy working on old broken rosaries and have a vintage collection I dare not take apart (they are all in pristine shape).

Buddha series is another one of my favorites, and when you click unto the page, you will notice that he comes in different hues.. Carolyn looks stunning in her blue one..
Buddha is a reminder to me that while living in Thailand as a young person, Buddha meant alot to many different people. There's magic and wonderful enlightenment in all faiths, I like to" respect the Buddha".

Turquoise,need I remind you that it has never gone out of fashion! It has come back in so many different designs and worth keeping. I love to hear stories of those who kept their pieces from the seventies....

Bali series is a brand spanking new item because of the tags.
All done in sterling silver wired wrap beads from Asia. I love this because it's an evolution of bead making I so enjoy.

Beaded pearls is going back to me roots. I begin at age eleven beading and this is the latest in pearls with name tags and different charm drops and of course a bead drop.
At the beginning of this summer I have had the opportunity in creating a new line from vintage beads for resort back east and also working with an establish line that is also back east, hence the merging of two designs into something new..

Please note all pieces are original and are not mass produce. Each piece is a created piece and may vary in hues.
