She's back!
Well for awhile..
The trip this past summer in the northwoods of Wisconsin was what my heart, mind and spirit needed. My batteries are all "charged up"!
I'd like to give thanks to Bill and Libby for making my summer out the best there. Big hugs and thanks also goes to the people of Star Lake for making me so welcome in their lovely world..
I have been accepted to be a part of the Art Colony in Tubac, Arizonia; I have been on the waiting list since April!
So what does this mean? I am leaving my beloved home state of California?
Well yes and no.
I have many opportunitites now showing all threee of my work, Tita's Threads, Bead Artisan and my Photography will finally be under one roof in the desert and this is great news after a disasterous last year.
My nest is empty, so this single gypsy cowgirl is going to hang her hat and eat, breathe , live and sleep art.
I am really looking forward to sharing this with all of you including my art friends that have a new venue to show piece their work as well!
I will be in California for the big shows such as Lillia's Craft show in December, Carlsbad Street faire in November and will Seaside Bazaar in Encinitas..
Of course you all are welcome to see the new gallery in Tubac (see the web site: www.aldea-de-artisticas.com) where I will be living and creating.. Happy hour will be mandatory "when the sky is pink".
If you have not seen a javalina, experienced a summer storm, smelled the desert after it has rains, or pick up sand and take it home, you are in for a treat!
The sad news is I will no longer be occupying space at Distinction Gallery. Since I will have another gallery to commit to , it is not fair to continue having one here when I will not be there. I want to personally thank Melissa and Sam for their amazing inspiration, hard work and making me feel part of their art family.
. I would love to see all of you when I am here for shows and I will be updating this web site monthly. I am in the midst of radical updates that will finally be featuring all the latest.
